March 2017 MLGC Match

Twenty-five competitors shot at Mother Lode Gun Club Saturday for their March match with about twenty additional spectators. Six full four man teams made up of both adults and juniors enjoyed the day.

"Team Smalls" won first place with a total score of 3001-61X. Firing members were Joel Sylvia, of San Lorenzo, with 774-21x, Hunter Blacksmith, of Valley Springs, with 768-21X, Rich Abalos, of Soulsbyville, with 745-8X and Zack McLain with 714-11X, from Visalia.

Second place, missing first place by just four points went to "Team Grizzbits" with a total score of 2997-63X. High shooter on the team was Anthony Henderson, of Reno, NV, with 783-24X. Following were team members Joe Blacksmith, of Valley Springs, with 759-22X, Kaitlyn Bispo, of LaGrange, with 749-10X and Amber Kingshill, of Sacramento, shooting a 706-7X.

In third place was "Team Honey Badgers" with an aggregate of 2858-50X. Morgan Owen, of Sonora and Monterey, was high on his team with a score of 783-22X. Team mates were Soulsbyville's, Rachel Babcock, with 743-9X, Rick Whalen, of Sonora, with 681-6X and Mike Brommer, of Turlock, with 651-3X.
