Ten from the Mother Lode competed in this state match out of approximately sixty competitors.

Kaitlyn Bispo, of LaGrange, won High Woman with a total aggregate of 741-12X, besides High Sharpshooter overall. She also took three other individual first place Sharpshooter Awards and one second place. High Junior went to Justin George, of Corcoran, with 764-16X.

First Expert overall went to Sam Blacksmith, of Valley Springs, shooting a total of 758-15X. Sam also won three second place individual awards. Sam’s brother, Joe Blacksmith, also of Valley Springs, won second place Expert overall, with a score of 743-17X. Joe also won a first place in one of the individual matches.

San Jose’s Lauren “Sissy” Wood, won second Sharpshooter overall as well as an individual second place. Hunter Blacksmith, brother to Sam and Joe won two first place individual Expert awards. Nathaniel Nye, of Twain Harte, won a third place individual Expert award, as did Rachel Babcock, of Soulsbyville. Loet Van Hoven, of San Rafael, won one individual first Master award with his brother, Koa, winning one second place Sharpshooter award. Kevin George, of Corcoran, Justin's brother, won two first place individual Marksman awards.

In the Civilian Marksmanship Program Leg match the following day, Robert Taylor II, of Sonora and already Nationally Distinguished, won the match with a score of 491-14X. Miles Grove, of Davis, won third, bronze with a score of 483-9X and giving him enough leg points to become a Nationally Distinguished Rifleman.

Also shooting in the matches were Morgan Owen, Todd Greenwood, Tanner Hines and Steve Grove.
