The Mother Lode Gun Club is open to membership to United States citizens who:
The club has a self imposed membership limit of 850 members. We are currently at maximum capacity and have a waiting list for new members. If you want to be placed on our waiting list, submit a completed application, without payment, to MLGC. A co-signature from a current club member, in good standing, is required. New members are required to attend a monthly meeting to be voted into the MLGC. You will be contacted when your name comes up for a reporting date and you will have 24 hours to respond, if a message was left. All prospective members are required to report and will be given the opportunity to pass on the first two(2) reporting dates offered. Failure to report on the third offered date will result in being removed from the waiting list. The current waiting list for new members is approximately 2-3 years out. Once your name is on the list, we can give you a better idea of how long it will be before you will be able to join the club.
If membership begins between January 1 and June 30, the payment amount will be $465.00 (one time initiation fee $315.00 plus annual dues $150.00). If membership begins between July 1 and December 31, the payment amount will be $390.00 (one time initiation fee $315.00 plus annual dues $75.00). The payment amounts include a $15 gate card fee.
A member's spouse and his/her children, under the age of 18, may join the club as an associate member(s). Associate members cannot vote or use the club facilities unless accompanied by the club member. An application must be submitted to be placed on the waiting list. If associate membership begins between January 1 and June 30, the payment amount will be $375.00 ($300.00 one time initiation fee plus annual dues $75.00). If associate membership begins between July 1 and December 31, the payment amount will be $337.50 ($300.00 one time initiation fee plus annual dues $37.50). Associate members DO NOT receive a gate card. If your gate card is lost or damaged, there will be a $25.00 Fee for a replacement card.

On the night new members are voted on for admission to the MLGC, they are REQUIRED to bring full payment, NRA membership verification, and to sign a consent and waiver form.

Membership renewals are on a calendar basis and are due on February 1st of each year. Members failing to pay their renewal prior to February 1st will be delinquent and dropped from the membership roll and have their gate card deleted from the club system. The renewal dues forms are sent out in the middle of November. If you haven't received the form or have lost it, call the club at (209) 288-2419 and leave a message requesting another form. Note, it is the responsibility of each club member to take care of their own renewal each year. The Membership Committee attempts to assist with renewals but the final responsibility for renewals falls on each member.
