Shooting Disciplines

Action Pistol

Action pistol shooting is an international sport enjoyed by people of all ages. It is not unusual to see entire families participating in these shooting activities. Those in attendance practice safe gun handling and good sportmanship.

MLGC has had indoor archery shoots every Monday evening, starting at 7:00 p.m. (except the second Monday of each month).

Big Bore

MLGC Big Bore Shooters have informal target practice every Tuesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until it's over, weather permitting. Both women and men shoot rifles and carbines with lead bullets of 300 grains or more in weight.

Black Powder

MLGC Black Powder matches are generally held the second Sunday of each month but please check the activities calendar to make sure of the date.
