Motherlode Shootist Society
Welcome to the Mother Lode Shootist Society's website!
We shoot on the first Sunday of every month at the Mother Lode Gun Club on Jamestown Road. Setup starts at 8:00 a.m. and shooting usually begins between 9:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.
The MLSS is a SASS cowboy action shooting club.
If you are unfamiliar with the sport, it is the fastest growing shooting sport in the country. Many of us grew up with the heroes of the west on TV or the movies and that's what we're all about. Shooting those pre-1900 smokewagons, killin' the bad guys, and savin' the good townsfolk....what's your fantasy?
